The modular wide belt conveyor WLX are designed to fit into demanding primary and secondary packaging applications.

It addresses important aspects of today's packing processes: easy to clean, smooth handling of products, safe for operators, robust design, long life, and easy to maintain with a low cost of ownership.

The modular and standardized design ensures fast set up, and facilitates rapid future extensions and changes.

Operator safety is prioritized by eliminating pinch points and sharp edges. During operation, the conveyor is safe and ergonomic. For example, operators use integrated devices to raise the chain, which eliminates heavy lifting when cleaning the conveyor. Furthermore, the noise level is comfortably low, which contributes to a pleasant factory environment.

The crevice- and cavity free design eliminates most of the areas that are difficult to clean. With its small contact surfaces between component parts, no open threads, no sharp corners and no flat horizontal surfaces a repeatable and consistent cleaning result is also ensured.

User Case from a cheese factory

The design is robust and quick to clean both in dry and wet environments, adding valuable production time. During wet cleaning processes, very little water and detergent is required, which helps keep operating costs down.
